Business finances

Finance isn’t just for Accountants. For a business to be successful, it is vital that its people have an understanding of business finance and know what the impact of their everyday actions and decisions on the financial results are.

What would it mean to your business if budget holders knew how to most effectively manage their budget? Or if they had a better idea of what decision to take to ensure the best financial and commercial outcome without leaning too heavily on finance staff, allowing them to focus on other business priorities? If they could have more informed conversations with finance colleagues and remove the risk of miscommunication or misunderstanding?

Your team members, especially those in the senior leadership team, need to have an understanding of company financials so that they can make well informed judgements and decisions operationally.

We offer a number of workshops to empower and inspire you and your employees to understand finance more fully.

Our courses can be tailored to your needs, to cover some or all of the above areas to suit the specific requirements of your business and its employees. We can also incorporate other aspects of finance not mentioned above – please contact us to discuss your requirements.

We can also provide training to upskill your finance team or train them on accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks and Sage 50 and reporting software such as Fathom.

Also we can work with you as the business owner directly to provide 1:1 coaching. You might be working with an accountant who helps you meet all your statutory requirements and tax needs but ultimately, you have no real idea what they are talking about. They use loads of jargon and complex terms and so you just do what they suggest without really understanding what it all means.

We can help you understand what it all means so you have more confidence that the decisions you are making, are the correct ones. We may be accountants, but not as you know it. We’re jargon free and focused on simplicity.
